One small step for ... me

Have I told you that I have a hard time letting others take care of me??

Well... it's true. I do.

I know that we take care of each other when we love and care for one another... and I do it for others all the time.

The thing is... is I have been burned before... and I have found being self-sufficient prevents me from having to rely on someone else.

So... here we are in Texas visiting my brother Michael and he won't let me pay for anything!!!

I know that sounds nice... but it is a hard pill for me to swallow.

So, today, he paid for us to go to the NASA space museum.

My boys LOVED it!

We asked another tourist to take out our picture so we could all be in it... Things like that happen every day... the original take wasn't exactly what we were expecting.
 

I then showed her how to look through the view finder... and we got the shot we wanted.

For fun... here they are put together. haha!

Then we rode the tram to see the actual space ship.

After our fun day, we went back to Uncle Michael & Brian's and played a few rounds of "Headbands"
