Top Ten Things That Made My 6 Hour Date Worthwhile

10. In the little cafe where we ate, I got to follow the "red brick road" THROUGH the kitchen to the bathroom.

9. Because we followed the "red brick road", we got to see that their "stereo system" was really an 8-track player.

8. We analyzed the menu and found sexual connotations in it... I mean putting "Mom's Chili over Dad's Dog"? I mean...Really?

7. We talked about everything from bathroom habits to zoos (or was that 2 waters for $2??)

6. I showed him my "unexplainable" bruised elbows... and he didn't think I was that weird. (yeah... I really don't know how I bruised them both!)

5. Women in red and white striped pajamas graced scared us with their presence... as little kids in pajamas surrounded us... all in hopes of using Starbucks' bathroom.

4. I got him to snort. (Yes, this is my own personal challenge!)

3. I got the Reuben... he ordered the WHAT??!!

2. Six hours seemed TOO short...

1. He told me today that he took down his profile off the dating website because he knows he doesn't have to look for anyone else.

  1. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, that is too sweet.

Im am sooooo happy for you. Keep us updated.

  2. Okay, so often you tell us that you get a little freaked out when a guy gets serious too quickly. Is taking his name off the dating website a better transition?

A six-hour date had to be a fantastic one!

  3. Zuzu,
I think it has been the approach... guys in the past have wanted to get physical fast.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the physical, but I want them to KNOW me first... to know I'm NOT just another pretty face.
He and I have talked on the phone about 25-30 hours already. That's a lot of time getting to know me that the other guys haven't done.

So when he made that decision, I think that is the reason I didn't get freaked out.
