It didn't matter how many times I have told myself that today...we're here.
...Here at school when all of the other surrounding schools are out.

Ice still covers my subdivision.
but that doesn't matter.
I don't teach in the same district that I live in.
Even though I live in the largest district around...AND they are out!

It's hard to put on a brave face and make your students believe that we should be here when all you want is to be back in your warm bed sleeping for another 3 hours.
